Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs inspections of HarcoSemco products using specified procedures to determine conformance with specifications
May perform inspections of HarcoSemco safety sensitive product which is subject to FAA/DOT requirements
Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs
Maintain quality system documentation including material control records
Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, nonconforming material documents, and collect IDS in VQ
Prepare and distribute inspection and discrepancy reports
Issue and control inspection instruments
Work from purchase orders, drawings, specifications, verbal and written instructions, and other sources to verify compliance to purchase order requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident alien, or otherwise able to review all export – controlled technical information
Must be able to travel up to 5%
Must comply with all training as directed.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs.
Must have the ability to read, and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions, including GD &T
Knowledge of manual product marking systems such as Vibropeen and Electroetch and automatic systems a plus
Qualifications and Experience
High school Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 – 2 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Some light physical effort required
Must be able to push, pull, and lift at least 15 lbs.
